When I'm trying to color a picture in on photoshop 7.0 with the paint bucket/fill option or the magic wand tool, it changes the color I want to a grayish color and I can't get the picture the color I want it to be. How do I avoid/fix this?

I'm assuming its a black and white photo... at the top of the windows click Image, Mode, RGB... then you should be able to use color

that happens to me tooo,you need to click the color a number of times and it should use that color or maybe your not clickin the color in the middle maybe your clicking the edge of it
