Photoshop wont install?

I have a new computer w/ Vista. I downloaded photoshop %26 it will install fully but then it will say

"You are not allowed to continue because your account does not have the proper privileges.Please log in using an account w/ admin. privileges %26 try again."

I am the admin. so why isnt it working?

ive tried cs3,cs 9,cs8. nothing works.

Try going to your Control panel and checking your user administration. Sometimes when you either purchase a new computer or "rent" one from one of those rent to own stores there is a "hidden" account that allows the user to restore the computer, (failsafe option) Then if there is only ONE user make sure your name by default is not on super user or even power user, it needs to read "Administrator" or in the "Administrator" Group. Some programs even under Super Users or Power Users still will not let the program install unless you have a login.bat file telling it to let you but if your not on a company network the odds of that happening are unlikely.
